whene will my chicks start laying

i have 12 chicks and no one can give me a strait awnser, on when they will start laying, can anyone help

What breed are they? Generally 20-24 weeks old.

A bit more information about your chickens will be a big help!

We have an all Bantam flock and they began laying between 16 and a half weeks old up to 23 weeks old.

Although those are the typical time frames sometimes the reality is that they lay when they lay. Some people have waited almost a year.
