hello i was wondering what kind of feed are you giving your chicken
like are you cross mixing your feed or not because I've got the same
chicken as you and your guy has beef com paired to my chicken and are you
giving him grit and what is in your feed and do you feed then every day or
    every other day [IMG]

Quote:I only buy Purina Layena feed and oyster shell. The Layena goes into a 30 lb metal feeder so they never run out, and it has to be filled about every 3 days for my 23 chickens. They have the run of my 1 acre and spend much of the day scratching around in the grass. I also cook unused eggs and chop them up shells and all and use that as treat food. Oh, I also keep grit available so they can chew whatever grass and bugs they find.

He does look like he'd fill the pot nicely, but I'm too fond of him for that.

Wow - he's sure pretty, but I would not want to mess with him. That is definitely an evil eye. Is he one of those that looks tough on the outside but likes his belly rubbed? [IMG]
