Where can I buy silkie chicks near Oregon?

This spring I'm looking for 2 or 3 vaccinated silkie chicks. Does anyone know any breeders or somewhere I can get silkies around Oregon because shipping chicks makes me nervous! I'm willing to make a longish drive. The chicks would have to be vaccinated too. Thanks!!

I am wondering the same thing. I'm thinking of going with hatching eggs, but would like to know of localish breeders.

I was told that either Wilco or Coastal (can't remember which!), was getting them this month. I have one part silky, lol!

Highly recommend Burns Feed Store in Gresham. We've been to many different places around the area to buy chicks, and this place just feels right. 'Fran the chicken lady' is known to be expert at her job. We've gotten our last 4 or so batches of chicks (including turkeys) from them and while we're now trying to breed our own this would still be our go to for any new chick.

They have a schedule of when they get their chick breeds online, call ahead and reserve.
