Where do you find someone to, uh....prepare your ducks for eating?

Ask around. You could take them to a processing center, but it's unlikely to be worth the cost because of USDA regulations that make it prohibitively expensive to process small batches of birds. However, among your friends you are bound to have at least some who grew up on a farm or just want to try their hand at it who would either help or perhaps even do the job in exchange for some of the product. Good luck!

P.S. You might want to also post this in the meat birds section--you'll get a larger population there of folks who know all about processing and can get you in touch with more resources.

If you post in the Meat Birds area, you can probably find out how to save money and do it yourself.

Thanks for the heads up for the right place in this forum. I appreciate it!
