Mason our German Shepherd eats Royal Canin German Shepherd Formula from Petsmart. Poor boy is 4 years old and spent his first 3 years itchy and shedding piles of black hair constantly. We tried the raw diet but it was just not in our budget so we went with Royal canin. The best dry food for german shedders, oops I meant shepherds lol. He still gets raw venison mixed in his kibble though (we get an extra axis deer just for him now) Lucy the wirey terrier mix gets pedigree from walmart. Shes our 6 year old spca rescue, the ugliest and healthiest mutt in the world! And the cat gets cat gets purina kitten chow (she has kittens). We're still new cat owners and the kitten food makes her a little gassy and her poo extra smelly...
So I'm sure once she weans her babies and they find their forever homes we will see what the best food out there for her will be.
