Where to get Chickens

We have 5 chickens all youger than laying age but still pretty old. We got 3 of the from breeders we found on facebook. The other 2 came from a store. We really really want some orpingtons but can not find any. I would pefer not ordering young chicks. Is there any other way to find some? We want to introduce them sooner rather than later. In the fall are the more people breeding chicks? Thank you!
