Where to get chicks in the San Jose, CA area?

Hi, I'm trying to get started as a first time chicken owner. I live in San Jose and I'm looking for a place to buy chicks (fairly) locally, rather than shipping. Does anyone know of a trusted place that's not too far? (I'm looking for Rhode Island reds and Araucania) Thanks!

If Concord Feed isn't too far for you I've had really good luck with all the pullets I've gotten from them.

Gilroy has a very well stocked Feed Store(in terms of fowl) http://www.yelp.ca/biz/farmers-feed-and-supply-gilroy

otherwise there are a few people on Craigslist. I got a few from this lady in Menlo park http://littlecluckers.com/TotalDramaCoop/.

Could check in with Sam's Downtown Feed http://www.samsdowntownfeed.com/ to see if & when they will get some chicks. They're really local.

Just got some 10 day old chicks at Sam's Fed and Pet Supply. The 4h kids had a sale. Below is the original info I received. Having another sale in May. I'm sure Sam's will have more info.

My kids are in 4H and their group is selling chicks so if you are up for a backyard flock of your own, the kids would love to have you get chicks from them.
