I'm thinking about spring already. A friend and I are considering sharing the tasks...I 'll incubate and she'll butcher... Anyone know where I will be able to order eggs in quantity (about 40 eggs)?

cornish X are a mix between cornish and white rock so you can "grow your own".. but the only place I have ever seen cornish x eggs for sale is Dunlap hatchery

i've never done business with them so I can't say one way or the other how they are

It would be cheaper & easier to order day old chicks. Shipped eggs are such a gamble & are hard to find for Cornish crosses. Chicks are sold for the same price & you get almost all or all of them alive from the box, unlike eggs of which you will be lucky to get a 50% hatch.
