    I would be inclined to say cukoo maran - but those legs look pretty rough, and *could* be distorting the color - are you addressing that condition?

    This picture was taken back in January when I found her in our front yard! I'm not sure about what you are mentioning! Please educate me in this regard.

    I agree,she looks like an English dark cuckoo marans and like she might have an external parasite issue, scaly leg mites, perhaps. Or she is just old and has poor leg scales. Search for what to do for those, it's usually along the lines of bathing and then smothering the mites with petroleum jelly. Lots of info on this site. Good luck! She's pretty!

    Looks like a Marans to me, quite nice color and shape also. Legs look to be a combination of a mild case of scaly leg mites and age. She's well over a year old probably closer to 2+ if I were to guess.
