I have a few options on which breeding flock I could get.

Planning to get another coop, set up the breeding flock, and sell the hatching eggs and chicks from them.

Vote in the poll above. Choose up to 2 options.

I am not 100% certain that I will be getting any at all, but I’m just curious on what people are most interested in.

Going to add on if I see any more breeding flocks available.

Dont get lavender orps breeding lav to lav you get the shredder gene they look ugly. I said speckled sussex as its one of my friendliest breeds.

I heard Sebrights are hard to breed due to males having very low fertility rates. I’ve actually found this to be true within my own flock- I’ve had a Golden Sebright roo for over 4 years and not once have I gotten offspring from him.

I also heard Orpingtons and sometimes Wyandottes are hard to breed due to their fluff.

Thoughts?

I voted for the Wyandottes. Out of all the breeds, those are my favorites.
I would avoid the Lavender Orps, because their feathers tend to shred, which makes them look awful.
