Which do you prefer?

So...I've been up north for possibly a month now. Why is there no Miracle Whip or Salad dressing alternative to Mayo??

Anyway, decided it would be fun to see who on here prefers mayonnaise or salad dressing!

Mayonnaise only; Miracle Whip is like Cool Whip, Coffee Mate or Velveeta - they're poor imitations of a real food item. Thanks for asking

I always find these regional differences interesting.

But there's no flavor in mayo! It's like eating something salty AND creamy. Like some whacked out marshmallow.

Or you can get fancy and use two egg yolks, a cup of neutral oil, a splash of lemon juice, a half teaspoon of mustard, and a little bit of salt to whip up what I like to call "homemade mayonnaise."
