So... I'm looking for a feed with these qualities:

    Layer
    Organic
    Animal-Free
    Common

    Thanks!

I think Layena is organic and animal free. I get mine at Ace.

Quote:Unfortunately, Purina Layena is not an organic feed. It does not have animal protein, tough.

It may be more difficult to find organic feeds depending on where you are located. It will be stated on the bag and label if it is organic, and you may see some certification logos the bags as well. You certainly can find it online, but the shipping costs can be prohibitive. Most organic feeds use soy to boost the protein level when not using animal product in them. Do your research online and most manufacturers will have a dealer locator on their site so you can see who carries it in your area.

    Hope this helps.

My bad. Didn't have the bag still. Layena is certified "natural" not organic.

There are absolutely NO organic brands around here.
