Which geese are the best weeders?

    The title pretty much speaks for it self. I will get geese NEXT year. I want them as a alarm system ,weeding and maybe eating. Which breed would be the best? We will live out in the boonies , so noise are not an issue

    White or Brown Chinese are consider the best for weeding.

    Are chinese geese pairs for life. Or can i do a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio ?

    Yes you can do trios or quads, as long as it is only one gander in the group.

    Mhmmm i thought about 6-9 of them total , which would be 2-3 ganders. They would have 1/4 to 1/2 acre space with multiple nesting areas,shelters and prob. more than one food and water station.
