This is our first year raising chicks. We currently have six. We started with two Black Australorp and two Red Sex-Link. Then we went to our local feed store and requested two Ameraucana and one Welsummer. One of the supposed Ameraucana didn't make it but the other two are doing great. But when we look at chick pics online we're not sure which is which. I know time will tell but thought it be fun to play guess the chicken with us.

    Here they are together..,

You have two Easter Eggers. No Ameraucana, no Welsummers.

We've kinda figured that might be the case at least for one because they don't look like any of the chicks on the ABC site.

Still Easter Eggers. Welsummers have a different comb type. And a Welsummer pullet would feather in with rosey brown chest feathers. A male Welsummer would have feathered with solid black feathers on the chest.
