    Hi,
We acquired 3 Brahma's about 10 weeks ago assuming that they were all hens.
At least onne has started crowing in the morning but so far we are not sure which one.
I think that they are all about 20 -24 weeks old?
We are new to keeping hens and only want them for their eggs (which they haven't started laying yet)
Can anyone tell me which is the cock and when we can expect our first eggs?

If you're new, which it appears you are, you'll need to get to 10 posts before you can post pics (I believe it still works that way, anyway). Go introduce yourself in the New Member section of the forum and :welcome

I can't quite see their faces clearly, and my eyes aren't the greatest lol, but I do believe I see a big ol comb and wattles on the blue one in the middle, and he has a nice big male looking tail.... That would most likely be the crower ;)

Oh, and welcome to BYC :D

    Thanks short grass
You are correct. An hour ago I caught him coming out of his house, standing at the top of the ramp, crowing like a good'un.

I will get him swapped for a hen Brahma. It's a pity because he is a beauty!

He really is! I'd love to take him off your hands for you for sure ;)

His size tells it too, he's huge ;)
