I have three 19-weeks-old BR roosters. The one has most of his toes curled. However, he is the "king:"and is pursing the "girls". He doesn't like other roos and literally runs them off. Another roo has normal toes but tends to be off on his own. Possibly because he is "low man on the totem pole". The other roo has slightly curled toes and hung with the hens when I put the "king" in a pen by himself. I had the "king" by himself for four days and left him with the group yesterday but he took right back over. I would like recommendations on which roo should I keep. I am hoping to hatch some chicks somtime. I am still waiting for the first egg at this point.

I will keep the one that shows no defects at all. If the 3 roos are brothers curly toes might be a genetic defect

you do not want to pass on next generations. Sometimes is the result of inbreeding or bad genes.
