Which sand to use?

As we knew the chickens have killed the grass in the new run and we are adding sand down as the base. I know I am not supposed to use playsand, but which sand would be the best option: Asphalt sand or mason sand. Here is the link to the options that are available to us.

Shakecc, I'd go look at the sand in person before buying. I can't tell by the pictures. You want a sand with mixed, different-size grains, but none that looks anywhere near as large as small pea gravel.
