Oh darn... I was hoping you were posting about a website for witches!

To answer your question, though... it all depends. What type of chickens do you want and how many? For what purpose? You can look in the resources section of this website and see a listing of many potential sites and then check on each to see the types of chickens they offer and minimum order sizes. G'luck!

Also are you looking for hatchery grade chickens, or you looking for show class. If you will go back to the main index, you will see a board for hatcheries and breeders. I hatch my own, but my first run was from My pet chicken. They are only a reseller however.

    Good luck!

I have recently purchased 30 chicks from Ideal Poultry. Each one is healthy and strong!

This website right here is the best. [IMG] There are far more breeders here who are happy to help you with what you are looking for, there are far more HONEST people here than any hatcheries around, and a lot of us breeders have reasonable prices, too. Even if you're just looking for backyard egg layers, look at the auctions, post a wanted ad, ask in your state's thread in the Where a re You? Where am I? section - You're guaranteed to find what you're looking for. [IMG]
