Today we celebrate the day America sends astronauts back to space from American soil and the finalization of our new chicken chicken coop. We received plans from this site for the whichita chicken coop. Little did we know what we were getting into. The plans are amazing but dont provide much in terms of steps, which is all good because it allows for your own creative process to take over and make your own progress. Over the past 3 weekends we built up the frame, dried in the enclosure and painted. It really was a blast and some hard work went into this. Originally I never wanted chickens but my wife insisted and she negotiate them as her mother's day present. So we sought out for some plans on the internet. Once we had plans in hand, we got to work. Over the next few weekends we were up early and didnt put down our tools till the end of the day. Luckily, we were able to get most of the stuff we needed via online order and picked it up the next day.
