White and bloody back end

Please help. One of my chickens (1-1/2 yr old) has a horrible looking rear end. The opening is bloody, swollen and white goo is coming out all over her feathers and drying and sticking there. She is still laying but I'm sure it hurts. There is blood on the egg she lays. She seems to be acting normal - still eating and drinking. Does anyone know what this may be or how I should treat it. Looks painful, want to help her.

Could it be vent gleet?

Another thing I always consider with white droppings is egg binding but you are sure she is laying. Sometimes the urates will move around a stuck egg, while the other part of the poo will be stuck in there with the egg.

Thank you so much for your help. Yeh, I pretty sure she is laying. I got an egg today with streaks of blood on it and it was white - she is one of 4 white chickens I have - the others are black. What is vent gleet? I am new to the terminology. THX.
