Ok, went to the feed store to pick up another heat lamp for the chicks I was on the way to the PO to pick up [IMG] . While I was waiting for the girl to go out back and get me one(they just came in) I was peeking in the asst layers bin. There was a chick that was all white(well yellow) with a few black dots, no pattern or anything. I will get a pic later but I am thinking it might be an Exchequer leghorn? are there any other breeds it may be? I know, I know, pics but until then I have to just wonder [IMG]

Yup, I agree. California Leghorns. I had a few last year, they look like the chicken version of dalmations

can you tell me anything about them? I assume they lay well and white eggs? Are they flighty? That's funny, I was going to describe it as a dalmation puppy when they start to get their spots [IMG]

It could be an Ideal 236. I have 6 of these and they are yellow with a few black dots on them.
