I was wondering if you could please tell me some breeds that lay white eggs? All my current laying breeds lay brown eggs and I'd like to expand the egg colorations. I believe Leghorns lay white eggs...I think...

White leghorns lay lots and lots of white eggs. Mine never slow down - even in the dead of winter.

Leghorns, Minorcas, Anconas, Andelusians, Hamburgs, California Whites, and White faced Black Spanish all lay white eggs. White Legorns lay the most and Black Minorcas lay the biggest.

Quote:Not always -- the white leghorns I had weren't any more skittish than the EE's they were raised with, and when mature were actually underfoot a lot of the time.
