Our Indian Game Bantam came to us as a brooder hen with no white tips in her head feathers.
She's been with us for 4 months and had maybe one or two show in the first three months, and this month loads have started to turn white.
She just went through a brood we broke her out of and then began a moult on the belly, but that was last week and it hasn't continued to a full moult. She is even back to egg laying.
We are in the southern hemisphere but just at the start of fall.
Are these feathers a sign that they will be coming out soon in a moult? She looks and acts normal in all other respects.
