My husband and I have had this white hen for almost two years. She's not a White Rock, but we can't figure out what she is. She's very sweet and quiet. Normally her comb and face are white, but flush red when she runs. We have both tried to figure it out but can't pin it down.

What do you think she is? (sorry for the fuzzy pics)

She's the White one in the middle.

She doesn't normally stand like this. Her head is thrown back because she's drinking.

She's on the right and our White rock is on the left. There's a comparison.

I couldn't get a pic while she was standing normally.

The comparison pic isn't very good. She's about half the size of the white rocks.

She has the body of a leghorn but a rose comb. Perhaps a leghorn wyandotte cross? A rose comb is a dominant gene so if one parent had it, she would too.

Hrmmm we got her in a "chick grab bag". She's not skinny from not eating. She's just, skinny. She's also the only one of her kind in my flock.

She's alot smaller than a Rhode Island White. She looks almost dead on to a Leghorn though.
