White Leghorn

    Well, I have a leg horn and I thought she was ready when she looked like yours, but their combs get huge and hang over to the side. Their wattles also get real....they hang I guess lol.


    Looks like you have at least 3-4 weeks [​IMG]

    She was born around the March 8th.

    If I am correct they lay white eggs and haven't seen one yet...I think I have a new pic of her, that way U can show you what she looks like...


    The Leghorn is the one on the right...

    Although your pullet has the body type of a white leghorn she does not have white earlobes. When she starts laying, please post the color of her eggs. I'm guessing that she may be a hatchery quality white rock. [​IMG]

    All of the leghorn varieties that I have seen/owned have had either white or cream tinted earlobes. Not sure about silver leghorns ???
