HI, I have 8 white leghorns, and need a quick answer instead of searching the postings, sorry, small kids. How do I know if they are male/female? I have found 4 eggs and am SOOOo excited. But I thought that they were just about all roosters b/c they all have big red combs and waddles, so then maybe they are all female since I have eggs so early, they are about 3 mos old. Help??!! Also, are they bad mamma's, and won't go broody? I was reading that, but I want babies, anyway, info would be wonderful, thanks in advance. jennifer

here is a pic of my leghorn hen.
from what I hear leghorn are not good momma and do not go broody very often. AND
if im not mistaken then hens big cushy combs fall over where as the roosters stand up. u can click on breeds up at very top of page (in the blue) and see a pic of a leghorn rooster
