White Pekins

Hi,

I am new to raising ducks and my husband and I just got 4 white Pekings. I was wondering if we could get any advice on raising them. We have a dog so we are not sure if we can do free range or not. Please help!

I just got 2 pekins (i think anyway) & 2 mallards (after looking at pix on here they could be rouens?). This is my first time having ducks/chicks (i also got 4 pullets & 5 bantum chicks) and have no clue what I'm doing...lol

another thing is dogs will kill duck and ducklings don't just let your dog be up close and personal with your ducklings until you have taught your dog not to touch or try to play or eat your new ducklings, or you may have to regret you ever got them.
