Hello everyone! I am new as of today! I am concerned......

My white Rock Rooster who is a sweet heart. Has started showing a white spot on his cheek. I am attaching an image is this normal? or what do you think it could be?

see pics below....

He is 5 mths old

We feed our Chickens a cracked corn with Layer and Oyster Shell and Grit protein powders mixed into the feed by a local feed supply store we buy it by the barrell and it is an expensive feed but they all swear by it and all that show there chickens (Blue Ribbon show) use it and suggest using it.

We let all ours free range during the day and they go into the coup at night on there own and we shut them in for the night for safety.

Thanks,

I adopted him along with 6 others at the same time they were all only a few weeks old.

Was told he was a White Rock? but I swore he was a Leghorn I was right... he is soooo nice to the hens.
