I have two, 5-6 month old white silkie cockerels for sale. They are both from a private breeder with show quality lines. The alpha chicken is my easiest chicken to catch and handle and is a good watchdog. The other is slightly harder to catch, but once caught is my easiest chicken to sit still for haircuts around the eyes. He is also good at alerting the ladies to food. Silkies are a bantam sized breed and would do best with other smaller bantam sized chickens. They are not the best for eating, so I am looking for a pet home for them. They are developing nicely and may make good breeders too. Since they are looking for a home with some ladies of their own, I am willing to split up or you can adopt both. I'm willing to waive the adoption fee of $15 each if you're willing to send me updates on how they are doing.
