    Hello,

I have two silkies here approx. 8-10 weeks. Compared to my silkie cockeral these seem like pullets (I know it's still early). But any thoughts? The pics aren't the greatest quality, I might have to take more in daylight. Neither has an obvious, growing bumpy comb but the 1st one does have reddish spot. Both very similar in size.

Its still a little early to tell. So far, neither one is looking particularly roosterish. If one of them was to be a rooster, I think it would be the second one, as it looks more like a rooster (taller stance, more stringy feathers/smaller crest). For now, I think you have two pullets.

I agree. I'd post new photos in 3-4 weeks; by then the gender should be a bit more obvious. But with Silkies, you may not know the gender for sure until the bird either crows or lays an egg.
