White stuff around roosters nostrils?

Just went out to check on the bunch and noticed my rooster has some white stuff around his nostrils? Could this just be dirt/dust i should just clean off or do you more knowledgeable chicken owners know if its something else?

I would wipe it off and just see if more accumulates.
