My purple Orpington room has developed white patches on his face. They’d seem to itch. What is it and how can I get rid of it?

It looks like Favus.
You treat it with miconazole or other antifungal cream. Wear gloves as you can pick up the fungus as well. Apply antifungal cream daily for 7-10 days.
