I have 7 wild turkeys that have been laying for the past few months. I am incubating the eggs on every 8th day as a set. I am on the 4th set now and one of the chicks just hatched out all yellow. Anybody see this before?

:welcome What `subspecies' (Rio/Eastern/etc) and how long has this `line' been under domestication? `Cottons' (white phase) reportedly comprise ~2% of actual wild populations.
Color Phases: A few wild turkeys grow unusually colored feathers. These are known as color phases. There are four color phases, a smokey gray color phase, a melanistic color phase (all black), an erythritic color phase (reddish coloration) and an albino color phase (very rare).
The shot, below, was taken by researchers, at Texas tech, tracking Rio Grande populations (Albino Rio or Rogue domesic? Conformational cwapshoot  ) From: http://www.ranches.org/rio_grande_turkey_project.htm Being turkeys, someone just had to shoot one (like any other `albino' of any species, lead is the least of the worries) http://www.huntingclub.com/magazine.../articleid/13834/chasing-a-ghost#.UUwLzL39Fwg Again, welcome `aboard', the more of us `turkeys' the better

It is much more likey that your so-called wild turkeys are recent domestic crosses than the remote chance of them producing an albino.

Just rain on my parade. Lol. I am fairly certain these are pure turkeys. The first on out of about 120 chicks that came out in anyway odd colored. I was puzzled when I seem it in the bottom of the incubator.
