This is a hatchery baby from MMH it will be 8weeks in a couple of days. I have never had Wyandottes, but there is a big difference in the Columbian Wyandotte chicks combs and this little cutie. This chick is also bigger than any other chick in the batch, even the White Plymouth Rocks.

Sooooo..........I'm thinking they sent me a roo, not a hen?????!! I tried searching for White Wyandottes chicks, but it seems like hardly anyone posts about them.

Roo or Hen????

That's a rooster for sure. In my experience, Wyandotte females almost never have that much red comb/wattle at this age.

Well, FIDDLESTICKS!!!

Oh well, hubby will be happy with it being a roo. I bet the little white Plymouth rock pullets that were picking on him (they are a few weeks older) are going to regret that down the line. He will get to keep them in line

Thanks y'all!
