Hello, so a couple of my hens have some spots on their comb. We live in northern fl and the temperature has been high 70’s during the day and 40’s at night lately. I thought they are maybe just dry? But want to be sure. Behavior is fine and they are eating and drinking fine. No signs of sickness that I can tell.

There is a great product called Blu-kote or Blue Lotion that treats fungus and bacteria. It also helps dry up any lesions and prevent them getting worse. Get some and throw away the dauber in the bottle and use a Q-tip to paint the lotion all over the comb. Warning, wear something old because chickens shake their heads when they get something that feels wet and cold on their combs. The purple stuff stains.
