Whizbang Killing Cones

I was in need of three more killing cones for processing this weekend. I wasn't completely satisfied with the ones I made w/ the pattern I developed. I ended up using the pattern in the Whizbang plucker book. The pattern worked very well. If I make anymore, I will make a slight modification, but for birds under 5 pounds, it was the ticket.

What we used for our processing this weekend were the orange cones like what you find in a construction area. You can buy em at walmart, RV stores, etc. They are soft & plyable, and were easy to cut too! We just cut off the tip a bit so that the chickens slipped right down in there. Worked like a charm.
