    The wife see's them every year on her butterfly bushes, she says it fly's like a hummingbird but looks like a bumble bee. Thanks for your help.

    looks like a moth.



    a mutant moth...come to drain your flowers of all their nectar.

    there is a moth called, appropriately enough it seems, the hummingbird moth. Maybe that's what this one is...

    We get them to. I love hummingbird moths. We usually get a bunch at a time. They love my butterfly bush plants [​IMG]

    we get tons of them. they are awesome. they go through three color changes during their lifetime and it is soooo cool.

    the first time i saw one, i was blown away.
