Boomer is our 5 yr old mini doxie. He's only been around "chickens" for 9 wks, which is how old our girls are. Would we ever "trust" him with them unsupervised? No. We very much put everyones safety first. We've patiently worked with Boomer for 9 weeks allowing him to smell and even lick the girls. We started doing this with him when they were only 2 days old and today they are all the best of friends.

The girls see him and they come to their gate to visit w/him. Here EVERYONE is out for their morning exercise. This is truly what peace is all about...

We're NOT suggesting this can always be done, depends on the dog and the breed.... so please use caution...
