There are two black silkies and 2 Cochins. They are about the size of a tennis ball maybe smaller

We have 40 chickens right now, with a broody sitting on 6 eggs due to hatch in a little over two weeks.

It's really so much fun! She's our second broody this year and I'm so happy to have more chicks. The mama does all the work, it's amazing to watch the process.

It is I'm 12 an like 3 years ago I rescued 4 chickens from a guy who had them in a crate that was way too small, then I got more from my local feed store at raised them my self, and it was so much fun I raised 2 more batches. And about two weeks ago my hen went broody on 10 eggs and it was so exciting!! It's crazy how you can start off with a few then end up with 20
