Who else is making a chicken/poultry wish list for 2012! I can't wait to start all over again with chicks, but DH said I have to wait to order till next year. So I am currently working on my wish list and counting down the days when I can place my order! We are building two more coops over the winter, so more space [IMG] I am trying not to go over board but everyone here knows about chicken math [IMG]

So this is my wish list (still in progress [IMG] )
    Chickens
Pullets: 1 Black Sex Link, 1 Ideal 236, 1 Production Black, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Silver Spangled Hamburg, 1 Feather Legged Cuckoo Marans, 1 Welsummer, 1 Delaware, 5 Ameraucanas (aka Easter Eggers)
Roosters: 1 Ameraucana (aka Easter Egger) I am going to have an EE flock, I just love all the colors!

    Ducks
1 Blue Swedish, 1 Fawn & White Runner, and 1 Hatchery Choice (I just love surprises)

    Geese
1 Brown African, 1 Gray Saddleback Pomeranian, and 1 Hatchery Choice

    Turkeys
    10 Narragansetts

Three weeks ago I picked up my first baby chicks in many a year. Had laying hens for years until the raccoons cleaned me out. The henhouse is sitting in the middle of one of my goat pens so the goats have to be moved out soon so the chickens can have their area back.
Would love to have a new incubator for Christmas although the Hovabator 1583 is fine. It is just "old".
I want some Ameraucana chicks to go along with my cuckoo marans and buff orpingtons that are growing nicely. So my Christmas list is short but specific.

I'm probably going to order some Ducklings from Sand Hill Preservation Center, but I'm not sure as to what I would like to get yet.

I still have a while to figure out what I want. [IMG]

I want to try and aim for somewhere around 50-100 Kraienkoeppe, and maybe one or two Malay. Lots of birds? Indeed. I don't plan on keeping but about 10% of the Kraienkoppe.
