I just noticed today that in my Meyer Hatchery catalog that they had Welsummer Bantams. Does anyone know anything about these? I very much doubt the eggs are as dark as in the picture.
Who has the darkest eggs in bantam size? I've been scouring the forums but I'd love advice. I'm wanting to develop a bird in bantam size that lays a dark egg. Maybe start my own breed. I just want a pretty, healthy, dark egg bird in a bantam size. Is there someone already doing this? I could find a thread on the subject.
