Who has the most chickens on BYC? I only have 19 but I was wondering how many other people had!
I have about 150 on hand most times, although that's counting other poultry species. About 100 of those are chickens.
My boss's flock varies from 50-500 depending on the week as he sells pullets for a living.
I don't know if it's still the case, but at one point jmhappycowboy had several hundred chickens. Also, we have at least 1 member in Africa (I don't remember their user name or where they were in Africa) that had a laying house with over 600 chickens.
At least I can tell my Honey it's NOT ME
At least not YET!
Yeah, I do have two orders coming this spring. And that big ol incubator is just begging to be filled......
what breeds are you getting donrae?
I'm getting the rainbow pullets from Meyer in March. Then in June I'm getting Barred, red frizzle and partridge bantam Cochins from MMM.
Oh, and hatching out (hopefully) Marans and my Camo Eggers, and some sexlinks, and who knows what else.....
