Who is laying eggs

Hey y’all I’m just curious! I have six pullers our back and one of them is laying every day. But I’m not sure who. Out of nowhere all of their combs looked way bigger and much redder except one is not nearly as bright. Should I assume she’s laying and the others are getting ready to? Thanks!

Just the opposite. Layers will have red combs. Your other one is just a bit behind still.

Yep like @townchicks said layers combs get bright red. They’ll all be laying soon and the one that hasn’t developed the bright comb yet will soon!

You could always use an old smartphone and spy on the birds doing their business. This video cracks me up. This woman is a chicken data scientist.
