Who is this guy?

Hi-I'm new to the forum, and to chickens for that matter, so please forgive my ignorance

. We have a small 3 acre "farm" in N. Calif.. We have 10 hens and a dwarf Cochin rooster whose primary function is to make us laugh.
The other day a beautiful rooster flew down (he can fly with ease) from one of our trees. We tried to locate his owner to no avail. He stays away from our other birds and we think that we'd like to keep him. Can any of you be so good as to help identify his breed? Thanks so much, Alan

I'll take a pic later. He really cracks me up especially when chasing the hens. He's a bit uncoordinated if he manages to catch one though. His name is Frenchy

He's very handsome, how big is he? He's probably a game breed or a mix.

Not very big-about the size of a regular hen but thinner-if that helps

Hmm...not totally sure but it looks like Old English Game breed to me

Looks gamey. Be careful with him- some game breeds have very aggressive roos that cannot be housed with other males.

He's more than likely either a runaway or someone had let him loose on purpose.
