I was reading a post earlier and it made me wonder with everything the people are capable of these days if anyone has ever transplanted an egg into a clear container and incubated it..... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...-create-shell-study-bird-embryo-develops.html turns out they have.

When I was in elementary school our teacher cut squares out of the eggshell and replaced it with plexiglass! Cool!

That is a very interesting video. Thanks for posting. Wonder why they didn't let it reach hatching age. That embryo is very energetic and animated. Probably in distress. May be the lights. After watching, I suspect the notion that an embryo of similar age will adhere to the shell membrane if not turned is unlikely. I'm not saying turning isn't beneficial, just for other reasons.

I'm not positive but I think the video may be sped up.

Yes they did develop, it was very interesting... I do not, however, remember them hatching.. That could be because it was 20 years ago and my memory isn't great or they didn't make it.
