This morning I went out to my coop where I have one duck and one drake separated from the rest of the flock because they are being treated for bumble foot. My little girl is about 8 months old and has been laying eggs on and off but today in her coop I found the littles egg I have ever seen. Here is a picture of it next to the eggs I got from 2 of my other girls. It is so small but looks like on of her eggs as far as color and shape. I was wondering if it was somehow laid by her or if we have a sneaky local bird trying to lay eggs in her house. What are your thoughts? Could not getting enough food do this? Or could the antibiotics?[IMG]

More than likely hers. Occationally you can get egg oddities, little ones are one of them. Sometimes they contain a tiny yolk, sometimes there's no yolk but a piece of tissue, and sometimes there's nothing, just egg white. I call them fart eggs.

Some refer to these as 'fart' eggs. They happen sometimes at the start or end of a laying cycle - the disruption in her housing may have had an effect that caused this also.
