Who lays better......

black australorps or Jersey giants? Does anyone have any experience with these 2 breeds? I wanted to compare the 2. Thanks.

Australorps lay much more frequently.

I have one Jersey Black Giant hen, who is almost 3 years old. She lays 4 or 5 eggs a week, except in winter, when she averages 2 or 3 eggs a week.

I don't have experience with either breed, but my Irish Setter lays on the couch every day does that count?

Actually leghorns hold the record, but between the australorps and giants the consensus sems to be the aussies.​
