I think most hatcheries carry a version of them. Just look for black or red sex-link chicks. [IMG]

But will they be the same incredible egg-laying machines? Plus I've read they are very sweet and gentle with kids and that's very important.

Got my two Black Stars from MyPetChicken, but like Angie said, most hatcheries carry a variation.

Well, they're the same cross, every hatchery just gives them a different name. A Black sex-link is a RIR rooster crossed with a Barred Rock hen.

Right, that's what I meant. You have to forgive me, I'm sleep typing [IMG] Same cross, variation in name. There we go.
