Who was talking about spotty Ancona butts?

It is raining today and my ducks look so pretty out with the overcast sky...decided to take a few pics of them and once I looked at the ones I took, I saw this one that shows all my cute little spotted bums and remembered someone commented on that today or yesterday.....decided to share my pics.

Do see THREE chocolates in there?

ETA: I don't think that one is considered Chocolate....or is it??

I thought I only had ONE chocolate, and I think I have found out it is actually called a "penciled", but...not sure. That is the one that is colored like a female mallard.

In the second picture, look at the one right in front of the mallard looking one, he looks like he MAY be a chocolate. Maybe?? And then my little runt baby at the very back of the same second picture.

I am SO mad because the one that died was definitely a chocolate. Plus, he was a sweetheart! Ugh!

As babies, look at their coloring...the little runt baby is all the way on the right, he looked chocolate to me when they first came:

I thought I had four chocolates when they first came.


OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh.......I forgot how DANG cute they were!

Awwww, Miss Lydia.....my mom proudness just puffed up. Thank you for your compliments. They were adorable as babies, weren't they....no wonder I want more! And, they really are gorgeous ducks....thank you so much. Too bad I can't take credit for them, huh??

wooooow those chocolates are super gorgeous and dark! The pencilled is really neat! And yes - those are EPIC bumspots! Whitey looks a bit jealous.
