I bought what I thought was a bag of scratch today. I got home and realized it was whole corn. Is that ok for the chickens to eat?

Absolutely. I give my girls a couple ears of corn once in a while and it keeps them busy pecking the kernels off. They love it.

I add whole corn to their regular mix of chicken chow on a regular basis and I also toss some out each morning when I open their coops. They love it.
